MOTH WINGS


I found this moth on our back porch one night this week. It is the Giant Leopard Moth found in our area. It is actually black and white, so it was a natural choice.  We are celebrating Mother's Day here in the U.S. today, so please forgive me for this next pun....the only time I can say Happy MOTHer's Day. :-)

    The first shot is gorgeous: the small spots of the leaf and the larger ones on the moth's wings play off each other wonderfully. I love it!
