DANCING STORM CLOUDS

"The Light and the Dark"
I picked this one because of all the various shades of fractocumulus clouds and their ballet of movement.
The storms all across the state this week are giving us hope that the drought might be losing its long, powerful grip.

"The Scout Clouds"
I picked these for their ominous tone against those wispy white upper clouds.

Scout Clouds are the low set of clouds that rush along the front of a storm.
This storm swept through Katy,Texas bringing hail and 60mph winds.

SIGNS

They're not the scary kind from the sci-fi thriller, just some artsy signs outside the Menil Collection
here in Houston, Texas

ABSTRACTION: PATTERNS ON THE WALL

"Patterns On the Wall"

It's rare that an abstract photo haunts me, but the tonal range and movement and textures all converged on our living room wall one afternoon. I tried to put an empty frame around it, but by the time I got back, it was gone.

SOMEBODY WAS HUNGRY

I found this leaf on the sidewalk just blowing around.
Life is full of surprises. :-)
