Cool shots! The look like they were made to be in a black and white photo. :)
ReplyDeleteStrange structures, but excellent detailed shots!
ReplyDeleteThey are very strange! But perfect for B&W.
ReplyDeleteThat first shot is the one. Love the depth and the way the ball seems to float.
ReplyDeleteI am just a beginner as well, these shots are great. I love the texture and detail.
ReplyDeleteYour sycamores are different to ours.
ReplyDeleteI really like the first with that wonderful texture
ReplyDeleteFirst time to see this...impressive!
ReplyDeleteThe first one is awesome. You can really study the texture of this strange ball. Thank you for your comment on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you shot them and they really lend themselves to black and white.
ReplyDeleteHallo, thanks for visiting me and my blog. I like your first shot here. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteHi there!
ReplyDeleteThe first one is very well lit and shows so much detail.
Do these have a nut inside that people often eat?
Barb
I like the lighting in the first shot very much, nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI remember sycamore balls! I don't think the trees grow here in Idaho, but there were many where I grew up. Love your take on Star Trek!
ReplyDeleteHi all,
ReplyDeleteTo answer Barbara's question....they look like they should have a nut inside when actually they don't. The ball just falls apart into these brown slivers that look like a small, but soft toothpick. I hardly can imagine how this contains a new tree seedling, but it does!

Definitely strange and I like your title :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Wonderful composition, I like that you get very close to your subject
