As I was leaving the Museum of Fine Arts, I was intrigued with framing Van Gogh between moving cars.
It took some time, but here's the shot. I also wanted to show a night shot of our beautiful museum here in Houston.
We are temporarily housing the National collection of 50 French Impressionist paintings from the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. while they refurbish the galleries. They're here for the next couple of months.
It's a beautiful exhibit. To see another beautiful exhibit, visit our host, Dragonstar at http://blackandwhiteweekend.blogspot.com/

ReplyDeleteHi David, I thought I had left a comment before, but something must have happened along the way.
ReplyDeleteI like this, you did a very good job catching the cars, and they frame Van Gogh perfectly! I also think your title is great.
Since you asked for suggestions, I wonder if you tried cropping it a little closer to see how you liked it...
How nice to have such an impressive collection on display. I like the ghost cars. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat catch! Perfect in b&w!
