DANCE OF THE SUGAR PLUM TOOL KIT

I was struck by how these tools looked as if they were ready to jump up at a moment's notice and dance about. Perhaps they come to life late at night in the little jewelry shop. These are the fascinating tools used by my friend Sam as he handcrafts his own jewelry. He's quite good at it.

    Maybe they are the little soldiers getting ready for their march. It is such a treat to watch a jewelry maker use his tools. I have only had the experience once, but I still remember it vividly. Love your photo. genie
