NATURAL SCIENCE

This is a collection of natural objects in a basket in my classroom. I really enjoyed capturing the different textures. Pictured are seashells, three types of acorns including our largest, the bur oak, and in the middle a scale off of a cardboard cycad I grow in my garden.
Visit Dragonstar for more textures and great photos at http://blackandwhiteweekend.blogspot.com/ .

  1. Shells are always beautiful. Their color, texture, shape, and design are always interesting. I could spend hours walking the beach hunting for them.. Nice post. Mickie :)

  7. Most interesting is the piece from the cicad; not just because of its shape and textures but because it is new to me - and immediately drew my eye.
